Education

The council prioritizes education in the jurisdiction. Education is an empowerment tool for the youths as they are the future of the country. The council ensures that they is harmony between the development of education and school services and the interest of the district. The council supports school activities that take place in the district. 

The council also supports initiatives by the government to empower students in programs such as the Junior Council. The District council ensures the accessibility of education and school services  that is affordable to its citizens considering that the majority of the citizens are rural citizens. The council has established some schools in the jurisdiction that is run by it hence, it is involved in some decision making processes of the school. It decides on some measures in the schools and school facilitates run by it.
