Profile Overview
The Data Protection Officer for Manyame Rural District Council is responsible for ensuring the Council’s full compliance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and its supporting statutory instruments. The role involves overseeing all data processing activities, conducting internal compliance audits, and guiding the organization on best practices for the protection and lawful handling of personal information. As DPO she is committed to strengthening data governance and promoting a culture of privacy and security across the Council.

As Manyame Rural District Council’s Data Protection Officer, I play a central role in building and maintaining public trust by ensuring that Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is handled securely, responsibly, and transparently. My work ensures that the Council remains aligned with legal requirements while fostering a strong, accountable, and resilient data protection framework.

Manyame RDC has 21 wards and 28 councilors; with each ward having a councilor as well as an additional 7 Councilors making up the Women's Quota thereby making a total of 28 councilors.

Manyame RDC accepts payment in both local and foreign currency. These payments can be swipe; bank transfer, cash deposit, Ecocash online or cash paid in person at Council offices in Beatrice; Dema and Chikhwana.
